Kathleen Kubrick went to Barber School while she was still in High School and received her license by the age of 17. She always knew she wanted to work with hair, and immediately landed a job in hair replacement. Says Kathie, “I found I loved helping people look their best. At that time, I had much to learn. Now I bring all of those years of experience with me.”
Kathie has been working with hair since 1971 and says she still loves it. From doing haircuts that maximize the clients type hair to hair additions for the ladies and men’s hair replacement to helping cancer patients select the most natural look while they are in treatment. After 20 years of working for others she decided to open my her salon in 1991. With the help of her Mom (aka Marie, and Kathie’s beloved receptionist), her sister Carol who is also her best friend, assistant and nail technician, she has been able to maintain her dream of running her own salon, with the best team, her family.
